We recognize the importance of water for sustainable development, both globally and locally, and we consider it a strategic resource, using it efficiently in the metallurgical process, committing to its responsible management in all our processes, reducing its consumption, promoting its recirculation and storing it primarily for the use of the population.

IN 2022, AFTER THE PANDEMIC AND THE RETURN TO THE IN-PERSON MODALITY, WE HAVE:

• The water recirculation rate in our operations is 90% in open-pit operations and 87% en operaciones subterráneas.
• The water consumption rate per quantity of ore processed is: 0.43 m3/MT in open-pit mines and 0.88 m3/MT in underground mines
